Happy Chinese New year Everyone!!

What an interesting day.. lol.
Anyway, went visiting today. went to my uncles place again. my cousins.. really irritating but cute.. haha sometimes i get kinda fed up over them. lol. food was great.. lots of bakua! piggy year got more bakua -______-" yes anyway. relatives came.. some custom that they come to greet my grandma, being eldest in family. lol. left around 2+ to go visit my other aunt.. then i went home to make cookies.. for the party at hengs place later hehe..
Reached at around 4ish and started checking what we had available to cook. I learnt how to make carbonara and grilled chicken so i guess i would've been cooking that for the peeps later on. Waited on kaye to come over to help with the cooking. Everything went well!

title:{valentines day!}
Happy Belated Valentines day everyone!!!
I think she enjoyed herself yesterday.. well, it was my first time planning valentines day..haha. but guess it went very well... lol. did quite alot of preparations for it.. it all started when i went down to Paya lebar from home. was supposed to meet ivy there when she finished school. i brought a bunch of roses with me! so pai Seh in the MRT!! HAAHA. called her when i reached.. when she came, she was like "oh my gosh!!" HAHA she took the bouquet and splashed the water on me!!! but she didn't know there was water in it.. then while going to the mrt.. she asked me, "joseph, why are you sweating?" and i replied her. "cos you flung the flowers at me, they had water in them to keep them fresh....." then she laughed like mad!! funny to imagine isn't it... i made her carry the roses with her.. first stop, was to buy her ankle socks at heeren, MOOKS!!! socks! they're really cute!! put the roses into the bag after that.. she wanted to go to topman at wisma to find me new year clothing, so we went there .on the way, we came across this really cute balloon!! a piggy on a stick, with a balloon. it's so darn cute la! so we went to top man.. we found this really nice red top. i think i'll be buying it for cny :) looks really good.. haha. then we went to Zara new wheelock place :P the pants was too big.. size 38.. it'll most prob drop off my hips! haha. well, told her after that we were to have dinner at thecathay, a chinese restaurant at the cathay.. we took a bus down there.. the food there rocked!! wahh! the first dish.. prawns!! but i thought i was allergic to prawns!!! lol! i didn't really care!! such good food was irresistable... just ate it.. really tasted good! next was sharksfin!! w00t!! then venison meat.. followed by some veg soup, then fried rice with shredded chicken.. we couldnt really finish the last dish cos we were so full.. dessert was nice.. haha.
well, we went to cartel .. hahaha. yeah, planned to watch a movie at 9.50pm. Ghost Rider!! really nice show.. tho it's scenes are somewhat a little satanic.. but funny!! and the storyline is.. understandable.. haha. we were supposed to go back after that, but decided to go have a walk at fort canning. walked abit, then went to sit at a spot to look at the stars.. but our spot wasnt that good, cos only could see one side of the sky.. haha! so we walked to opposite MOS, and sent her home in a cab.

ahh! didn't really get to blog for a few days/weeks.. been really busy with work.. haha ever since i got my new job as SAOO, it's been really.. mind-breaking.. have to think of names to put for deployments.. crazy.. it's not as easy as it sounds.. each shift has around 15 men.. some of them got courses, or got leave.. then i need to source officers for each deployment.. can go up to as many as 18 officers needed.. then i need to burn midnight oil to call Team Leaders to discuss and ask them for officers... rah! aha.. it's really tiring.. =/
Went to meet ivy at Marina Bay, then took a walk along the river side. we passed by a restaurant under a flyover.. decided to try the food there.. ordered a stingray.. it was quite okay.. not good, neither was it that bad.. but for the location.. 12 bucks was abit alright lah.. yeah.. after that walked into esplanade cos we needed to go thru to get to the bustop..
Ivy n me were discussing about mood's.. when she came up with this.. mood thingy.. like, she pays her mood 10 bucks and mood's can change shift. haha! and there's 7 diff mood's, angry mood, sad mood, tired mood, sleepy mood, hungry mood, happy mood and mood swing! haha! and when happy mood becomes hungry, hungry mood will take over the shift.. and when hungry mood gets too hungry, angry mood will take over the shift. when angry mood gets food, it becomes tired mood.. then after sleep, become happy mood!! HAHA then there's also mood swing! that comes when got no mood.. can't catch the mood cos its SWINGING!!!wahaha! now you think we should make a documentory out of this? i sure think so :D

Rarh! dnno what's wrong with my internet connection.. keep's d/cing every 10 min's or so.. sian sian.. ah well. just called them up, the stupid guy dnno what he saying.. keep saying it's my modem and modem cable.. i was just asking him if my status there was connected or line flayed or sth.. anyway i found out how to change my DNS.. so i changed them around.. guess my internet works now.. heh.
My last shift was quite okay.. we went on mass Bangla screwing and car summoning.. it was a sunday.. lol. first case reported illegal parking.. so many car's! around 6 or 7 in a row.. lol. summon all. ahah. then spotted a few bangla so go check them.. i didn't know police favourite pple to check is bangla... haha. so innocent.. but yet not so innocent.. we caught one with a stolen hp haha. bad bad.. make us do so many paper work -.- haha tonight will be my last shift with Team Bravo.. apparently they've been told to treat me very well or else.. they'll be deployed for special op's everytime muahaha. and i get to decide who goes. woo. that's the good thing abt being the assistant of a very high headed officer.. aha. yeah.
I'll be improving my chinese from now! so pls, talk to me in chinese!! nomatter how or what.. even if i say i dun understand. hahaha my new years resolution wahah *finally found one :P*

wahaha!! what an experience i've had for the past 2 days!!! i did Morning and Night shift for Kampong Java Team Bravo. lol. it was really fun...
For my first shift.. i went along with Shahrul and Alicia.. yeah a WPO(woman police officer). it was really fun with them.. at first, i wasn't really used to the cases.. shahrul's driving.. when we got mobile patrol, drive slow.. but once a message come's in to attend to a case, VROOOM!!! wah like plane taking off feeling.. his sharp turns.. the first time my face plonked against the window -.- hahaa anyway.. we attended to many cases.. cases of housebreak.. and one really special case XD apparently, we were patroling on a look-out for a suspect around whampoa.. and we were making our rounds, when we spotted an old man sitting down at an isolated place.. so we decided to check him out.. we walked by the back so he couldn't see us.. when we were right behind, Shahrul was the first to see... then the rest of us saw also.. and Shahrul gave us a "shh" signal, he crept up behind the old man, then suddenly shouted, "EH HO SEH BO!! PAK CHEW CHENG AH!!!" ahahaha!! then the old man faster took out a chinese newspaper to cover and pretended to read it.. HAHAHA damn funny la!! then we called for back up. damn funny la that incident.. :P *i cant write more due to OSA :)* yeah.. had many more... morning shift was from 8AM-8PM but only went home ard 11pm.. slept.. then the next day stayed home all e way till 6pm.. where i went to report.. XD
2nd Shift! Night!! this one was really exciting!!! first we attended a case of attempted suicide.. i shall skip pass the details. then.. was the roadblock time!! we conducted roadblocks at alot of places :P really exciting.. stoppig vehicles, asking them to step out, taking they're I-Cards, recording and screening them :P quite an experience..and we also did a standby outside ____ bar.. lol. interesting.. XD well yea.. night shift was from 7pm-8am.. but only went home ard 11am.. debrief, meeting with the CIO's and reporting shift cases.. aha.. police is so complicated.. i hope i get used to it soon.. my SA OO post will start soon.. then i'll be handling alot of stress. haha.
Other than that.. i don't know wat to do tmr.. =/ lol free all the way.. then sunday, got morning shift.. ON A SUNDAY!! sad... can't go church.. BUT!! i'll be on patrol ard bukit timah! HAHA. maybe i go outside church only :Pah well.. hope i find sth to do tmr!! XD

Anyway, had to report to Tanglin headquarters this morning to get our vocation! so.. took a bus down.. haha. quite near actually.. 20mins, take 851 from Tiong Baru. yeah, went there had a warm welcome by SI Rok. he rocks actually. lol, funny guy.. yeah, we had induction for the whole day, but the last part of it was those big-shot officers coming down to choose who they wanted..at first, SI rock took a look at my personal particular's form, and requested me to be in the CPU department(Crime Prevention Unit).. well, a few big-shot's came in, one of them wantde to interview me to take up the post of Staff Assistant to Head of Service.. so, he brought me, and interviewed me.. i had to have knowledge of magazine design, which of course i did not have.. so i didn't get chosen to be that :P well after that, all the big-shot's came in.. and this big-shot, Head of S&T(Support and Techical) wanted me to take over his SA, so again, i got brought down to his office.. where i was interviewed again.. but i didn't have the accountancy part, so he found someone else with it.. so i went up the the room where all of us were.. and heard that alot of the big-shot's were actually fighting over me to join them -.- blah.. so i sat in a corner, and waited for someone to tell me my post.. then this guy, Head of Bukit Timah NPC came to me and asked me abt where i stayed, i told him, tiong baru.. n he said, that's quite near us! we would like you to join us to be SA Commander of Bukit Timah NPC. well, it wasn't up to me to decide.. so i just waited.. there were lot's of eye's on me.. and alot of officers came up to me n kept asking me the same question.. highest qualification, grade for english, computer skills.. blabla.. then this big-shot, Operations Officer of Kampong Java NPC came up to me, started interviewing me.. then went straight to the PNS Head and said, i want him to be my SA Operations Officer, and when my SA for Commander ORD's, i will promote him to be SA for Commander and Operations Officer.. so.. my post for now is.. SA Commander & Operations Officer. WTH!! 2 job's la.. he said it's going to be stressful.. very stressful.. need to shuffle manpower, do lots of data entry.. lot's of typing.. excel.. powerpoint, web design.. zzz.. ah well... For the first week, i'll be put out on patrol with Bravo Division.. means, i'll be taking my revolver and T-Baton, not forgetting PR set :D it'll be like.. Morning, Night, Off, Off.. for a week. hahaha. XD can't wait to.. experience this new life i'm going to have.. as well as die. HAHA. chiiooooooooong ah.. XD

bleh.. stayed home the whole sunday. wanted to go walk walk, but it started to rain heavily.. stupid weather.. was so bored that i just downloaded a game called ghostonline, n started playing it.. hoho lvl 18 now.. ok very nice.. i'll just describe this sunday of mine as.. "SIAN".
i was bored.. i am bored.. and i hope i won't be bored for the next week as i'll be going to start work at tanglin police headquarters.. =.=" ah well.. working hours 9-5.. bah.. sian.. i don't feel like doing anything at all la.
went to work at cartel yesterday from 9-5.. but in the end only worked till 3.30pm.. police call me go pick up something.. anyway. had this really nasty hitch with this stupid chao ang moh.. on the order sheet it wrote sth like

So i told the stupid customer, Sir, your turkey and bacon sandwich, we changed the bacon to egg as requested by you. then he started to scold me upside down la,"what is this you're serving to me? i asked for NO BACON! then i replied him, "Sir, there is no bacon in this.. we changed it to egg for you.." then he said, "oh my god, you don't even know what you are serving me.." then he shouted, "I FUCKING ASKED FOR NO BACON! YOU DON'T EVEN KNOW WHAT YOU ARE SERVING ME? GODD!" and i got so fed up la, i just said "SIR,...I'M TELL YOU.... you just stay right here.." n i walked back to kelvin, walking halfway, i gave the stupid chao ang moh a stare.. he point middle finger at me la. friggin asshole. went to kelvin, told him abt the stupid customer.. then he went to talk to him.. cessna n me just stood there, waiting for kelvin to come back.. wait for around 5 mins, the stupid chao ang moh walked towards me and pointed at me and said, "what did you say the food on the table was" kelvin started to talk to him, then he shouted"I'M ASKING HIM, WHAT DID YOU SERVE ME JUST NOW!" i almost wanted to scold him la.. public annoyance.. shout so loud.. then i just said in his face, SIR YOU GOT A TURKEY AND EGG SANDWICH HERE OKAY??. then he said, "yes that's fine now." and walked back -.- then we he came to pay the bill, he gave cessna alot of trouble.. when he was walking out, i purposely shouted, "THANK YOU, SEE YOU AGAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIN". and he turned around, and i gave him a nasty glare.. hope to see you again.. i'll make sure your face is concave and you'll never say a word about sandwiches again -.-
my day was already messed up, and this guy messed it even more. bloody stupid chao ang moh. ah well. usual la, after work, go pick stuff, then go home. slaack till sleep. blah. whatever la.

bah! gotta leave house to walk-in in like 10 mins.. so i'll make afast one.. anyway. today was more or less a tiring day.. haha. left e house after lunch, walked down past riverside all e way to ps, didn't feel like gonna see anyone at cartel.. so i just walked up e road towards taka.. was trying to find a nice place to eat. haha. so far, the best one's were along riverside.. those steamboat places super nice.. haha yeah.. ended up walking to lido.. so just hung around there, looking at stuff.. then took a free bus to greatworld, where i did some shopping.. haha. i was making goodbye-presents for my squad.. i'm so sweet.. well, cut strips of paper, write stuff on it, leave my name and number and staple it to e chocolate M&N's. haha. look's cool. i'll take a picture of it later.. hahah. anyway, I PASS OUT ON THURSDAY!! WOOT!! :):) then friday get posting.. i hope i hope i don't go into NPCO... if not stay another 3 more month's in camp.. can't haha anyway.. gonna leave now le. i'll leave with some.. stuff :P

woo.. i got to work at cartel today from 10am-3pm.. haha, been quite a long time already since i've last worked.. quite fun.. except.. i was asked to buy the lunch food for everyone.. and moreso, i took almost 1 and a half hours getting everything settled.. saturday queues.. anyway.. work was great.. lol. walk here walk there. i didn't have a specific task to do.. was asked to be an all rounder busser.. so just helped out here n there.. billing serving ordertaking.. haha. the feeling of working is quite nice, esp since i didn't work for a long long time..

waaaa broke broke broke!! ultimately broke till.. next thursday.. when my army pay come's in.. till then, only left with 10 bucks.. haha. might have to ask from mom. oh well, spent the morning sleeping, then watching tv, tried making myself some egg's.. kinda burnt them i think. haha just ate them in the end. sat at comp, trying to fix my mom's email.. but dnno why it can't work. lol. nothing much to do at home.. ahaha.
went for late dinner with ivy, ian, wanqi and weiqi.. met them at cartel after they finished work at 9pm. lol. then walked down to eat chicken rice. there chicken rice not bad.. but the rice too little. haha. but still, was a good meal. :P after that, we went to eat tauhui. weiqi's tauhui became more like porridge.. ivy had grassjelly. woo feel like eating that now.. ah well..
NEXT THURSDAY POP!! woohoo! friday get posting.. i hope i hopee i don't get neighbourhood police.. if not must stay in camp for another 3 more monts.. that'll be absolutely SIAN. haha. gonna go watch tv now.

alamak.. haha got 3 day's mc and 4 day's light duty..
well it all started when we were supposed to cut hair at 8pm.. but some other squad was there cutting already.. so we waited quite long.. and i got quite impatient.. cos wanted to go back early.. at 8.50pm, it was our squad's turn, so i cut e queue and went right infront to cut haha :P while i was cutting, it started raining, super heavily.. but i still wanted to go back.. so i just ran thru the rain.. i thought i could just run down e stairs but i was wrong.. i reach e last step then slipped.. landed super hard on my back -.-" throughout e whole night i couldn't sleep haha. so in the morning i went to see my camp MO. but the stupid friggin queue was super damn long la.. all wanna chao keng rifle drill.. so i just sat there n waited till 11.30am.. the doc check and said he wants me to go take an x-ray so he referred me to alexandra hospital.. got picked up by an FI in a police van and went to hospital.. lol. then got x-ray, diagnosis, bruised tailbone.. lol. ah well. quite pain la but got alot of painkillers. lol. anyway, went home after that.. so now i'm at home. dnno what to do. hahaha :P
maybe will blog later. see if got anything to blog abt haha.

Took a long walk down to Plaza Sing from my house. ard 35 mins+ haha. walked by e river side.. very nice view and.. "smell"(acutally it really stinks of poo..) yeah, in the end, i ended up eating there too.. lol chicken terriyaki pasta.. used to be much more delicious last time.. dnno why now it kinda sucks.. lol. after that took a bus home..
Feel so accomplised today haha, i cleared all my drawers! got rid of the stuff i don't use anymore.. lol. now it looks much neater.. and less dustier, and most of all, less stuff ard inside! got space for more.. hehe. well then, i'm off to walk-in now. slept for 3 hrs!! then ivy called, hahaha i was too tired to pick up, i think i thought sub-consiously that it was an alarm so i just pressed a button and left e phone there. she said she was scolding me =X wonder what she said.. i just remember her voice sub-consciously.. anyway, went to meet her for dinner. we had.. uh.. i forgot the name of the dish already!! i think it's "Kutu" prata.. very nice! it's chopped up prata with onions, chilli, green chilli and curry.. all cooked together as one. we both shared it.. and ended up so full.. hahaha.what a dinner.
sent her home aft that. then went home. before going home, i took a stroll down from the 147 bustop and went to cartel to say hi to the other's.. haha so shiong la they all nv sleep still gotta work.. hehe. well.. what a day it was today.. well, going back to camp tmr!! die lah more rifle drill practice... ='( maybe i wanna keng another MC tmr haha. we shall see! till then..

well well, say gooooooodbye to 2006, say hello! to 2007!
Well, left the house at 10pm yesterday to go to cartel, was abit too early, but i had nth to do at home :P went to PS, sat in Mcdonalds n had a meal there..i just love mac's fries.. random lol anyway, went back to cartel, n sat down waiting for the other's to come. Met this guy Jonathan, quite an interesting guy haha. Talked quite alot. Well the countdown to e new year was rather uneventful.. no countdown!! haha. just happy new year n stuff lol. Ivy came at around 12.45 cos something cropped up, yeah, sat there fellowshiping with e cartel staff's. Apparently, there was an outing already planned by william to watch deathnote 2, so right after e party, we walked down to cine.
Deathnote 2 was a major letdown.. e storyline was tooo draggy.. donno who gonna die, then this one die, that one die.. in the end, kira die hahaha. weird storyline.. oh well, after e movie, we went back to cartel to sleep n wait for breakfast :P didn't really get to sleep, Ivy went to help do opening of bar, while i just stoned n walked ard to talk to pple. haha. we then had breakfast together with George, Ivy, Bingling n Melvin. Was too tired to eat.. no appetite lol. Then went home.. heh now typing this and i feel like sleeping.. so i shall go sleep now. lol. what a way to start e brand new year... :P

alright alright.. it's been a way way long time since i last blogged, and if i don't blog, this blog would become non-existent.. yeah..
Well, a few reason's why i've not been blogging.. i'm in e police force doing national service.. i'm busy with adminstrative stuff that teh stupid police gotta give me..studying for law exam(pass alrdy~!), thinking of how to get the best out of life..
Well life for me has been like a rollercoaster... up's and down's.. but lately this year, more up's. lol. well the higher up you get, the worst you will feel when you go down*if you get what i mean...* well anyway. Life hasn't been a bed of roses for me this year. many many many thing's and changes have occured in my life. some of which i don't wish to remember, and some of which i wish to treasure all my life. Either way, i thank God for guilding me thru this year. Whatever has passed is pass. Well, we have to now look towards the future. The future is so uncertain.. like what my aunt spoke to me about.. God has been delaying his coming for a long long time.. He keep's saying it's soon.. it's come, but when? we don't know.. it could be tomorrow? next week? next month? next year? the next century? maybe even a few thousand years down the road?
Anyway, life in police camp at first.. was terror.. sleepless night's cos of Night PT.. water-parades, Field Instructor Barrack Raids.. well, 4 month's of this hasn't paid of right? I've certainly learnt alot from this and i thank God for placing me into this service.. At first when i first found out i was going to police, i was like "WAAH HENG SIAH!!, SHIOK, SO SLACK" well, YOU ARE WRONG.. in police force, there is.. many many MANy thing's to learn.. gotta learn how to march(it's the basic to how we get around in e academy),basic drill's, learn e law(traffic law, martial law, family law, penal law.. aiya all the law la, kam law saw..), learn how to swim.. can save pple's life in swimming pool! heh., first aid, PDT(Police Defensive Tactics), Shooting!!, IPPT... well basically, everything that is required to be a police officer.. haha. fun right.. the most difficult thing we had to adapt to was.. eating e mess food.. cos it totally SUCKS man.. hahaha

Stupid! going back to camp in like 20 mins. rarh la.. i MISS training.. but somehow, i HATE to go back there from mon-fri.. tho i know i won't have much to do if i don't go for training.. life is boring.. sucks la. certain high's certain low's.. guess it's just getting lower anyhow. I'll post up some pics when i have the time to. maybe next week. just didn't have the mood to do anything these few days.. wonder where all the happiness and anticipation has gone.. sianz.. ah well.. drill test this week. sei jor..
